ar X iv : n uc l - ex / 0 50 90 41 v 1 3 0 Se p 20 05 NA 49 results on hadron production : indications of the onset of deconfinement ?

The NA49 experiment at the CERN SPS measured the energy and system size dependence of particle production in A+A collisions. A change of the energy dependence of several hadron production properties at low SPS energies is observed which suggests a scenario requiring the onset of deconfinement.

ar X iv : n uc l - ex / 0 60 90 20 v 1 1 4 Se p 20 06 φ meson production and partonic collectivity

New results on φ-meson production and elliptic flow v 2 measurements from RHIC 2004 run (Run-IV) have been reviewed. In addition, the di-hadron correlation function between the trigged φ and Ω and the associated soft particles was simulated. Knowledge about these results are discussed.

A new experiment has been set up at the Paul Scherrer Institut to search for muonium to antimuonium conversion. No event was found to fulfil the requested signature which consists of the coincident detection of both constituents of the antiatom in its decay.
